I've taken the idea of 'PixelPosters' and run with it, as they say in the business world. Enter 'FlixPix' and 'KidsPix', two variations on the theme - minimalist posters where the subject is stripped down to the bare bones. Using as little detail as possible is the only guideline I give myself, and here are a few of my first creations.

PHDesign Blog Launches (website to follow soon...)

With some experience of Photoshop and the like, it's time to put all those random thoughts in my head onto paper. Well, a monitor screen at least. My first series I'm going to run with (and run and run and run - I have hundreds of these in my noggin') is 'PixelPosters' - giving those classic videogames of yesteryear a huge hug and then hoisting them up onto my shoulders to parade proudly around the internet.

Each poster will nod approvingly at a small idiosyncracy or factor that made each game great - some will be obvious, some less so. The only thing I ask is that you look at them and smile. They'll get better as I too get better at this Graphic Design lark. Please leave comments and let me know what you think.
